Advanced Skills book + audio-cd

Advanced skills completes the listening/speaking/reading /writing extra suite of books by offering extra skills practice at advanced level. While not specificallly written as exam practice material, the book includes many tasks that students have to do in the main advanced level Cambridge ESOL exames (CAE, CPE, IELTS).It is divided by skill into four sections and each section offers nine activities. Each Activity includes a page of step-by-step teacher's notes and two to three photocopiable pages for students to use in class. The activities last approximately a full lesson (60 minutes). Each activity covers a particular skill, for example listening for specific information, but students will also practice other skills, such as speaking, writing, as part of the lesson.The book explores topics such as Coincidences, Charities, Dreams and Ambitions and The Unexpected, and approches these topics from an abstract angle, which will capture the interest of young adult students.
